Project goals
We had to create a clean, consistent and accessible UI that reduces friction across the core payment journeys (send, request, scan-to-pay), improves new user activation, and makes multi-account management intuitive — while preserving brand trust for a bank-led product.
Success meant:
Reduce cognitive load for first-time users navigating UPI concepts
Surface high-value features (cards, rewards, UPI ID management) without clutter
Maintain strict security affordances in every interaction

result
YES PAY NEXT is publicly available on Google Play and Apple App Store and has crossed large adoption milestones (500K+ downloads listed on Google Play).
UX highlights
Onboarding flow — Minimal steps, progressive verification hints, clear permissions copy (biometric / device binding).
Home dashboard — Action-first layout: big primary buttons for Scan, Pay, Collect; quick access to linked accounts and RuPay card actions.
Payment sheet — One-tap source selection (multi-account support) and persistent confirmation affordances to reduce errors.
Cards & rewards — Inline card management with PIN/reset actions and an easy-to-find Rewards wallet.
Transaction detail — Clear, human-readable receipts with dispute/complaint CTA aligned with NPCI guidance.
The store listing and product copy reflect the broad feature set — UPI, multi-account management, card linking, UPI Lite and value-added rewards features our UI design needed to present clearly.
